Roadworks and construction sites
A construction project began in February 2025 at Metallimiehenkuja 6-8, which may result in increased noise and heavy traffic in the Otaniemi area. The project, initiated by the property's owner, HGR Property Partners involves the partial demolition of the building. The estimated duration of the construction is until November 2025.
Pedestrians are advised to pay attention to heavy traffic near the construction site.

A student housing project is underway at Otakaari 15, aiming to provide new housing opportunities for students. The construction work will begin in February 2025, and the project is scheduled to be completed by August 2026.
