Aalto ChaiR (Chain Reaction) is an initiative focused on reducing material waste on the Aalto Â鶹´«Ã½ and in Otaniemi by offering resources to repair, repurpose and recycle items varying from furniture to electronics. Dumpsters in Teekkarikylä are overflowing, workshops are filled with tools that people don't know they have access to, and we have a community of people who'd be willing to help each other to repair their well-loved items. Aalto Chair was founded to connect the dots and with the help of Sustainability Action Booster, we hope to act as the missing links and create a chain reaction of a more sustainable Otaniemi.
