Workshop day for teachers: 360° environments and podcasts
The 360° workshop, 10:00-12:00, is lead by Taija Votkin who has a long history of producing and utilising 360° environments in her teaching at Kielikeskus. Participants can bring their own photographs to the workshop and work them into an example environment in the ThingLink service. Furthermore, Taika demonstrates the use of a portable 360° camera and how additional information and materials are added in ThingLink.
In the podcast workshop, 13:00-16:00, participants get to know podcasts as a medium, understand their appeal and different styles. Furthermore, Aalto Studios is present to present the future studio spaces located in the new Marsio building in the Fall. The hands-on section of the workshop will guide participants to work in pairs to plan, record and publish (privately only for the participants) a small podcast episode.
