Vuorineuvos Marcus Wallenbergin säätiö foundation donates an additional 120 000 euros to education in the field of business and economics at Aalto University

With its donation, the foundation wants to support the high standard of education provided by the School of Business.

Finnish foundation Vuorineuvos Marcus Wallenbergin säätiö has donated a total of 720 000 euros to education in the field of business and economics at Aalto University.

'We want our donation to support business education at Aalto University. When making the decision to donate, we took into consideration aspects such as the very high standard of international business management education at Aalto,' Stefan von Knorring, a representative for the foundation noted.

'We are extremely grateful for this significant donation. It is tremendous that our work has been recognised, and the donation will allow us to strengthen research and teaching at the School of Business also in the future. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Vuorineuvos Marcus Wallenbergin säätiö foundation,' Dean Ingmar Björkman from the School of Business said.

Vuorineuvos Marcus Wallenbergin säätiö foundation was established in 1973. The purpose of the foundation is to promote education and research in the area of business management primarily in Finland, but also in international contexts.
