Do you want to visit Aalto University's Acoustics Laboratory? In spring 2023, you can visit the laboratory on visit days, which are held on Fridays once a month.

On the tour, visitors have the opportunity to:

• Visit the anechoic chambers
• Experience the variable acoustics room
• Listen to demonstrations of various research conducted at the lab, such as sound scene reproduction in the multichannel chamber.

The tours start in the lobby of A-Grid, Otakaari 5, and last for 45 minutes. The presentations will be given in English by members of the Aalto Acoustics Lab.

Please book your visit through this form:

Please note that people interested in participating are advised to not wear high heels or similar footwear, as they may find it difficult to walk on the wire grid flooring of the anechoic chambers. Unfortunately, we regret that people who require wheelchair access will be unable to participate in certain sections of the tour, nor will service animals be permitted inside certain rooms.

Please also note that the laboratory cannot be visited outside of the times indicated on the form.
