The issues with the integration between Aalto Research portal and Aalto.fi have been resolved

Previously encountered challenges involved the updating of profile information from the Research portal (https://research.aalto.fi/) to Aalto.fi, including academic staff profile pictures, which were not updating correctly.

Now, profile details such as profile pictures, publications and academic merits for academic staff seamlessly integrate into Aalto.fi from the Research portal. Ensure that the visibility settings for the researcher profile on Aalto.fi are set to public. This ensures that all information, including researcher descriptions, publications, and academic merits, is visible to a broader audience, even outside Aalto University. Also, make sure your profile is visible on . If you have transitioned from a research assistant to a doctoral researcher at Aalto, your profile may not be publicly visible by default. Ensure proper visibility by checking and, if necessary, adjusting settings at .

Additionally, the information for service staff members is integrated into Aalto.fi from the HR system, Workday (Profiles at aalto.fi | Aalto University).
