Over 100 graduates received their diplomas

The last graduation ceremony of the Academic year was a sunny one.

The summer graduation ceremony of the School of Science was held on Wednesday 29 June at the Undergraduate Centre in the Aalto lecture hall. Retuperän WBK opened the ceremony in their traditional style. A quartet from the Academic Female Choir KYN also performed.

Thirteen Doctors of Sciences, one Licentiate of Science, 70 Masters of Science and 36 Bachelors of Science received their diplomas.

The Vice President of Aalto University Eero Eloranta thanked the students for their achievements. M.Sc (Tech.) Anders Brotherus held a speech on behalf of the graduates and Director Sari Taukojärvi held the speech on behalf of the Academic Engineers and Architects in Finland TEK.

Retuperän WBK entertained the audience.

Over one hundred students graduated.

New e book apps will replace Adobe Digital Editions from 20 May

There will be changes to how DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected e books are downloaded in Ebook Central, EBSCO eBooks and VLeBooks. Adobe Digital Editions will be replaced by new apps that better support accessibility.
