Jeyakumar Karthikeyan to Receive the Indian Inspire Faculty Fellowship

Jeyakumar Karthikeyan has been awarded the five year "Inspire Faculty Fellowship" by the Indian Ministry of Science and Technology.

Jeyakumar Karthikeyan from the CEST group has recently been awarded the “Inspire Faculty 2019” Fellowship by the Indian Ministry of Science and Technology. Jeyakumar was one of 19 awardees in Physical Sciences and will receive support for the next five years. This fellowship will enable JK to return to his home country and establish an academic career while working on his project “High Throughput Density Functional Calculations to Develop Electrochemically Active Cluster Compounds for Multifarious Applications”. He has plans to hire a student to work with him on this project and is planning his future as a researcher back home in India.
