The Dean of the School of Business Timo Korkeamäki has made a decision on Matti Lehti grants for the year 2025. 

The Matti Lehti fund has been donated to develop and encourage research, teaching and studies on digital information society in the School of Business. The School of Business is co-funding part of the grants.

Grants are given to:

Assistant Professor Hadi Ghanbari for expenses related to the development of "Ethics in Digital Innovation" course, 1500€

University Lecturer Kari Koskinen for research expenses on a study titled "Development of autonomous buses", 4000€

Associate Professor Yong Liu for research expenses on a study titled "Using humans and AI: Digital Humans Presenting Online Educational Content", 4000€

Academy Research Fellow Pauli Pakarinen for research expenses on a study titled "New Constellations of Work, Technology, and Organization, 4500€

Assistant Professor Eeva Vilkkumaa for research expenses on a study titled "How to support difficult decisions involving tragic and taboo trade-offs?", 3000€

Doctoral researcher Lauri Horelli for research and travel expenses related to a study titled "Shaping the future of quantum computing - entrepreneurial practice in nascent fields", 4000€

Doctoral researcher Anna Smolander for research and travel expenses related to a study titled "Resilience of digital information societies, open source ecosystems, and responsible use of health data", 4000€

Doctoral researcher Siddhant Ritwick for research and travel expenses related to a study titled "From Information to Knowledge: Rethinking Public-Expert Relations in the digital information society", 4000€

Doctoral researcher Claire Shaw for travel expenses related to participation in the "Centre for Digital Trust and Society Summer School", 800€

The total amount of grants in 2025 is 29800 euros.
