Grants from Matti Lehti fund for the year 2023 awarded

The Matti Lehti fund has been donated to develop and encourage research, teaching and studies on digital information society in the School of Business

The Dean of the School of Business Timo Korkeamäki has made a decision on the grants from the Matti Lehti fund for the year 2023.

The Matti Lehti fund has been donated to develop and encourage research, teaching and studies on digital information society in the School of Business. In addition to the return on the funds donated, the School of Business will this year co-fund part of the grants.

Grants are given to:

Doctoral researcher Hanh Thi Duc Doan for research expenses on research with the title “Digital work arrangements and psychological contract – An insight into psychological contracts in the digital ageâ€, 4000€.

Doctoral researcher Claire Shaw for travelling expenses related to research with the title “Blockchain and commons organizing: Values practices in virtual contextâ€, 800€.

Assistant professor Patrick Shulist for the development of digital course material for entrepreneurship training in higher education, 5000€.

Doctoral researcher Mostafa Sadeghi for research and equipment expenses, title “Cybersecurity Escape Room in the edge of Metaverseâ€, 4000€.

Postdoctoral researcher Kari Koskinen for research expenses on research on incorporating ethics into software development methodology (DevOps), 5000€.

Doctoral researcher Bernadetta Aloina Ginting-Szczesny for travelling expenses related to research on artificial intelligence and visualization of entrepreneurship, 1400€.

Doctoral researcher Joona Ruissalo on travelling expenses related to research on “Kognitiivisten teknologioiden käyttöönottojen transformatiivinen dynamiikkaâ€, 4000€.

Doctoral researcher Siddhant Ritwick for travelling expenses related to research with the title “How does abundant access to and utilization of digital information shape doctor-patient relationships and the nature of professional work in the medical field?â€, 2000€.

Doctoral researcher Lauri Neuvonen for travelling expenses related to research with title “Supporting hospital network design to serve acute and elective patients by utilizing multi-objective optimization and partial preference informationâ€, 1900€. 

The total sum of all the grants is 28100 euros.
