Final stages in Aalto University’s fundraising campaign reached
Aalto University’s fundraising campaign The future is made today has received more than 21 million euros in donations. The aim of the campaign, launched in 2015, has been to raise 20 million euros and to further increase the number of the supporters of Aalto University. The campaign will continue until the end of June 2017.
'We are very happy about all the donations and very grateful. We hope donors will continue to be active throughout June, until the end of the campaign', says Tuula Teeri, the President of Aalto University. 'These donations and the match funding provided by the government will help us keep up with the tough international competition. Together, we can solve challenges and strive even more actively for a stronger Finland.'
The last weeks of the campaign have started. The government will provide match funding for donations made by 30 June 2017. Matching funds from the government can multiply the funds donated to Aalto.
