Faculty and alumni represent department of marketing at 2016 AMA Conference

The Aalto University School of Business was well represented at the annual Winter Marketing Academic Conference in Las Vegas

The Aalto University School of Business was well represented at the annual Winter Marketing Academic Conference in Las Vegas. A host of current faculty members participated in the event, including Professors Tomas Falk and Ashish Kumar, and post-doctoral researcher Jan F. Klein and doctoral candidate Alexei Gloukhovtsev. Professor Kumar and Dr. Klein presented their latest research projects, as did Department of Marketing alumni Professors Matti Jaakkola (now at Aston Business School), Johanna Frosen (St. Petersburg State University), and Henri Weijo (Bentley University).

The Winter Marketing Academic conference is an annual event organized by the American Marketing Association. The conference brings together scholars from across all areas within the discipline, and is widely regarded as the most prominent conference for scholars of Marketing. This year’s conference theme was “what happens in Marketing, stays digital”, reflecting the growing need for scholars and practitioners to address the many managerially relevant challenges of the digital age.
