Starting from week 50, the outdoor construction sites near Dipoli and Undergraduate Centre are paused for the winter. Work will continue in the spring as soon as weather conditions permit it. Both sites are set to be completed by summer 2022. Changes to the pedestrian ways and cycle routes are in place during the winter pause.
One of focus points of Â鶹´«Ã½ development currently is improving the outdoor areas. In addition to pedestrian ways, the aim is to also improve, for example, the versatility, accessability, comfort, lighting on Â鶹´«Ã½, and sustainable design solutions. Once the projects are completed, the Â鶹´«Ã½ outdoor areas will also better support experimental student activities, environmental art and holding events.

The pedestrian connection from the metro to Dipoli and the Amphitheater Square area will be improved during the autumn of 2021. The aim is to create comfortable, versatile, safe and accessible outdoor areas, respecting original design solutions and implementations. The construction sites will start already in August.
