Co-operation was discussed at the Bay Area Alumni meet

A great group of people gathered with different backgrounds, all of them having Aalto in common.
New connections were made at the Meet and Greet.

Silicon Valley alumni gathered with old and new friends to meet and greet and to make new Aalto memories at SCANCOR, Stanford Campus on Wednesday, 11 February. The event was targeted to all graduates and former employees of the Aalto University and its predecessors.

As the host of the event Dean Ingmar Björkman from School Business told about Aalto University and its recent developments. He spoked about the collaboration with Stanford University and the ways in which Aalto fosters a startup culture.

Special alumni guest was Petri Talala Vice President, Sales at Idean shared his journey from Otaniemi to Silicon Valley.

Most participants volunteered to support or mentor Aalto students and fellow alumni who move to Silicon Valley. Many were willing to volunteer their time and talents for Aalto by sharing their Silicon Valley experiences to Aalto students when traveling to Finland.
