CEMS Master's in Management degree programme 4th in FT ranking

Global Masters in Management ranks the world's 80 best business school master's programmes.

CEMS MIM (Master's in International Management) was ranked 4th on the Financial Times 2015 Masters in Management list. Around 30 university students graduate each year from the programme. CEMS, the Global Alliance in Management Education, is a global alliance of leading business schools, multinational companies and NGOs that together offer the CEMS Master’s in International Management (MIM). In Finland, Aalto University's School of Business is a member of the alliance. The community includes 29 member universities and 74 international corporate members. Students attending CEMS universities have the opportunity to study in this respected alliance programme.

The Master’s in Economics and Business Administration programme at the Aalto University School of Business ranked 54th. The annual ranking takes in account such factors as the career and salary development of graduates. This information is acquired directly from each programme's graduates. The School of Business was determined good with regard to aims achieved, whereas the international mobility of its graduates was assessed as not so good. The overall ranking is based on a combined result from several categories.

'I believe that our results in the last mentioned category will improve with time, because we are investing in this. We offer our students international work experience as part of their studies, as well as international student exchanges with 150 top universities in 43 countries. I hope that especially those of our alumni, who work abroad, will actively respond to the survey, because alumni have an important role in the formation of the ranking result. The survey is sent to graduates three years after their graduation,' explains the School of Business' Dean Ingmar Björkman.

'I would like to thank those of our graduates of 2012, who responded to this year's survey,' Ingmar Björkman says.

The Financial Times Master’s in Management ranking 2015 was published on 14 September 2015.
