Cases and exposures of coronavirus at Aalto University
Cases of coronavirus have been confirmed at Aalto University. The contact tracers of the Infectious Disease Unit of the City of Espoo are investigating the chain of transmission and will place those who have been exposed in quarantine.
As a precautionary measure, all classes for first-year BA students of the School of Arts, Design and Architecture are held online, instead of in the classroom, for two weeks.
Despite the incidents, studying and working on Â鶹´«Ã½ is possible in accordance with the corona-related safety procedures agreed upon. We would like to remind you that due to the coronavirus situation, we recommend organising all events as virtual events for the time being. You must not visit the Â鶹´«Ã½ if you are ill, and you must remember safe distances as well as good hand hygiene. For detailed guidelines for event organisers, go to: /en/aalto-university/coronavirus-guidance-for-events.
As it is important to break the chain of transmission early, please remember to get the contact-tracing app Koronavilkku on your phone.
