“The AlumniStudent Weekend seminar is a really special occasion, particularly in the way it helps you meet up with friends from your time at university and other alumni, as well as being a great networking opportunity for students.â€

So says Aalto University alumna and Director of Digital Service Solutions at Valmet Oy, Tuula Ruokonen. In addition to attending the event almost annually, she has also been involved in organising it.

The traditional seminar for alumni and current students was recently hosted by the School of Electrical Engineering on Friday 27 October 2018. This year, the themes of the seminar were ‘developing heath technology’, ‘Finland in space’, ‘electromobility’, and ‘future leaders’.
