Aalto University is looking for a Provost
The five year term will start on 1 January 2018 or as mutually agreed. The Aalto University Board will appoint the Provost upon a proposal by the President.
A search committee - consisting of one professors from each Aalto School and a student member – has been set up. The committee will actively take part in the search and selection of the Provost.
The search committee is chaired by Professor Orlando Rojas (CHEM). Other members are Professors Sampsa Hyysalo (ARTS), Kristiina Mäkelä (BIZ), Sergei Tretyakov (ELEC), Katja Hölttä-Otto (ENG), Jukka Pekola (SCI) and Petteri Heliste (AYY). Hanna Nurmela (HRS) will act as secretary for the search committee.
Applications or nominations should be submitted latest on 31 August by email to provostrecruitment@aalto.fi or to the chair of the search committee.
