Aalto People update on Monday, 23 April 2018

Aalto People will be updated on Monday, 23 April.

This update will not cause service breaks in the service.

Aalto People is the service for managing your professional information profile at Aalto University. It collects information from multiple sources and let’s you filter it for further use on other Aalto web sites. The 2018 update released on Monday, 23 April makes it faster to use, from browsing to editing, and let’s you find interesting people by more search criteria than ever before.

To help Aalto people communicate better, we now display work related contact information for everyone by default. We have also made sure that sharing person profiles online looks good in other services–this is a phone catalog on steroids. To learn how to use Aalto People for listing people on your sites, or to show teams and smaller units, please get in touch for more details on our group management and API.

Take a moment to sign in, review your profile and verify how your information is currently shown to the world. Then add some keywords to let people find you and your expertise even better.

Finally, why not  take a moment to click through a few groups and keywords to learn more about the thousands of people that make up Aalto University.
