Aalto Media Lab joins Ars Electronica 2021 from the perspective of music

Once again, will be held both in its hometown Linz and online 8.-12.9.2021. Ars Electronica Gardens invites partner institutions from all around the world to participate in the festival.

This year Aalto Media Lab will take part in the Ars Electronica Festival for Art, Technology & Society with an interactive composition and music performance by M Wingren, a recent graduate of the Sound in New Media program.

The composition, Unburn It takes the form of a web-browser game with visual art and code by fellow Aalto Arts students Carl Victor Wingren and Arto Chydenius. It will be live at from September 8th.

The performance, Conceptronica, Ontologica, & Phenomenologica uses a slide-presentation as a starting point for an audio-visual set and will be live-streamed as part of the festival on September 10th at 19:30 UTC (20:30 Finnish time).
