During autumn 2025, Aalto University is developing scenarios for the long-term future of the higher education system and our operating environment in general.

Scenario planning coincides with the Ministry of Education and Culture's process for updating the national vision for higher education and research extending to 2040, and it is carried out as part of the University Preview.

Your views about the long-term future will help us identify key strategic choices and shifts that are worth considering today to ensure that Aalto University thrives and upholds its fundamental purpose and values by 2040 and beyond.

All Aaltonians, both students and staff, are welcome to participate – share your insights and complete the survey by 12 November!
