Aalto Acoustics Lab Facilities
The Aalto Acoustics Lab has outstanding facilities for sound-related research, including three anechoic chambers, a variable acoustics space, a listening room, sound-proof listening booths, a large number of loudspeakers and headphones, and high-quality microphones and other measurement equipment.
Language requirements in Master's admissions
The language of instruction at Aalto University is Finnish, Swedish or English.
In order to be eligible to apply, applicants are required to be proficient in the language of instruction of the study option they are applying for, and to demonstrate this proficiency. When necessary, they may have to pass a language test. The language test scores must meet the minimum requirements set by Aalto University.

Sustainable Entrepreneurial Challenges in the Baltic Sea Region by Smart-Up
Pandemia, digitalisation, climate change and demographic shifts are shaping the future of Baltic Sea Region鈥檚 institutions, cities, ports, and daily life. The Smart-Up BSR with ten regions in all the nine Baltic Sea Region countries has been to testing practices of regional innovation and transformation and to encourage cross-regional initiatives including the Sustainable Development Goals Agenda 2030.

A variety of AI-based methods is applied, ranging from exact representation of knowledge to highly adaptive machine/deep learning primitives. As a result, valuable feedback for traditional engineering processes, such as design, operation and maintenance of rotation machinery, is received.
