It is important to take into account the most common individual study arrangements, such as additional exam time, already at the course planning phase. Aalto has revised the guideline for extra time in exams to be one hour.

On 27 February 2024, Assistant Professor Jaana Vapaavuori hosted a breakfast event to catalyze all kinds of diversities, in conjunction with the U.N. Day of Women and Girls in Science. Changes are planned to Aalto's tuition fees and scholarship programme. A working group has been appointed to prepare a proposal for Aalto University's future tuition fees and the renewed scholarship programme during the spring.
