Update Zoom - Vulnerability on Mac workstations
The vulnerability could be exploited using the Zoom feature where user clicks a meeting link, and the Zoom Mac client is opened and video is toggled on without any additional confirmation from the user.

Panu Sainio appointed School of Engineering technology manager
Sainio's responsibilities include the development of the school's Technical Support Services and the Aalto Works block in association with the future users of the block as well as Aalto Campus & Real Estate (ACRE).
Instructions from Aalto IT Help -website are now transferred to aalto.fi
You can find the IT instructions from “Services” and clicking “IT Instructions” from the left navigation bar. In the future, it.aalto.fi-domain will guide to a service page with the same contents as the front page of the previous Aalto IT Help front page.

itorders.aalto.fi - New IlonaIT Apple product order integration is ready
Order integration works now also with IlonaIT our Apple device supplier. Orders are done via PunchOut website as it is with other suppliers already. The form can be used to examine our contract products as well as any other IT equipment and device that is needed from IlonaIT.
Find Workday from the Tools menu – Download also the mobile app
The new Aalto University HR system Workday has been available for a little over a week. You can find the system from workday.aalto.fi and from the Tools menu in aalto.fi.
Since May 30th 2019 students can apply for credit transfer online
An electronic application form for credit transfer is now available. Applications can be made in the university's Sharepoint environment in the Nintex workflow system. An Aalto user account and password will be needed for making an application.
